Went to India for a month-long vacation. Had a meeting with the former teachers at the new restaurant at Kidangara. Prof.KTS,PJD,KKM,PCJ,KAG and AJF were there. A good time for sharing the memories of the past.
Also there was an alumni meeting at Yuva Rani Hotel in EKM.Justice Ravindra Kumar was present at the gathering. Some shared their old memories of their time at the college. Dr.Philip Augustine, Madhavan nair and E.T.Lukose were honored there.
Spent time with the family most of the days.
Visited Trichur,Alleppey,Chy etc. Had a meeting of the priest-classmates at Champakulam.
Went to the retired Priests' home at Ithithanm.Met Fr.Kattady,Fr.Thumpayil etc. Fr.Thumpa mentioned a line from my speech given at the inauguration of the Sahrudaya clinic at Alleppey in 1968.
Anniversary of Mr.P.J.Francis was celebrated at Edathua.
Praise and thanks to God Almighty for the peace and joy given during these days of rest and travel.
